Description 1-Minimum 5 years of experience in dealing with Abu Dhabi Authorities, i.e. ADM, Civil Defense , ADDC, Civil Aviation and other relevant government departments. 2-Must have worked with Engineering Consulting Companies in development projects. 3-Native Arabic is preference. 4-Education- (Bachelor in Architect is preferred) 5-Salary - AED 7000 to AED 10000 (depending on relevant experience and education).

Authorities Liaison Architect

1. Job Overview
The Authorities Liaison Architect reports directly to the Office Manager and/or Design Director and provides Support services to the Project Team(s) as requested. Specifically, the Authorities Architect will be responsible for and undertake the following duties and activities.
2. Duties and Activities
a) Coordinate, assist, liaise with design team(s) and local Municipality and Governing authorities in Abu Dhabi as well as Al Ain areas,
b) Ensure NOC’s, Permits and required licenses are obtained in a timely manner and being maintained throughout the duration,
c) Carry out Design & Production Drawings to the satisfaction of the client & Authorities requirements,
d) Issue weekly Authorities progress reports,
e) Actively participate and assists the office/ design director in all projects related daily matters,
f) Participate in Weekly/ Monthly progress meetings and assist in preparing minutes of meeting,
g) Participate in design review of the Project(s) deliverables,
h) Participate in the review of Project Specifications and Documentation,
i) Review deliverables of Design Consultants/ Sub-Consultants and ensure compliance with Agreement in particular authorities requirements,
j) Liaison with the client and project Design team,
k) Maintain a current set of project Authorities documentation,
l) The management of all project correspondence and documents in relation to Authorities' submissions,
m) The preparation of project/ office correspondence, reports, and presentation in relation to Authorities' submissions,
n) The co-ordination of all project planned meetings including, attendance and follow up on issues,
o) Any other requirement as directed by the Office Manager.

• Have completed a bachelor’s degree in Architecture
• Already participated in design competitions
• Be technically inquisitive
• Possess strong leadership skills
• Have the ability to work independently and in a team to learn from another perspective
• Communicate exceptionally well
