Provide fire protection work supervision throughout the planning, execution and post close-out phases of fire protection activities for the Nuclear Power Plant as per the regulatory requirements, operating policies and principles, nuclear standards for nuclear safety, industrial safety, and environmental protection, to ensure overall business performance objectives are achieved.

1. FP Program/Plan, Procedures Management and FP related to Plant Staff Training and Qualification

Responsibility:
• Set management expectations and communicate with department to ensure high level of fire safety in the fire protection program/plan
• Monitor and coach to improve performance for implementation of the FP plan
• Evaluate performance of plant staff to develop necessary FP related to training
• Ensure training programs provide necessary technical knowledge and skills
Provide training feedback on program effectiveness with evaluation of operator performance

2. FP Program/Plan Management
Responsibility:
Ensure the following tasks are performed timely and with quality to achieve highest level of safety and reliability in the fire protection area.
• Review the Fire Protection Program/Plan and Procedures
0 Manage the fire protection program/plan and oversight procedures
0 Coordinate the FP Program/Plan between corporate FP and site FP groups
0 Review and comply with changes in UAE laws and Regulations including industrial fire codes and standards
0 Support the site FP group for the Fire Drills and Exercise in the plant
0 Update the Fire Protection Program/Plan as required
• Independent review of the Fire Hazard Analysis report
0 Evaluation of design change related fire protection plan and procedures
• Perform the surveillance for site FP group's FP Plan implementation properly
• Review the fire protection procedures to be performed properly
• Review and approval the fire protection plan of subcontractor
• Review action guides for an InitialFire Response Team and measures for fire suppression in each fire area
• Manages regulatory requirements associated with fire protection facilities and operation of the facilities.
• Review the education and training of an Initial Fire Response Team
• Review the plan of FP training for the plant personnel
• Review education and training of the On-site Fire Brigade
• Response FANR's RAI related to the FP program
• Provide technical expertise to develop and implement engineering analysis and activities related FP program
• Develop FP procedures/guidelines for BNPP as required
• Develop FP training program to ensure appropriate awareness across the organization

Skills

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related science
Engineering Professional
3 years in related experience which shall include 2 years in power plant, 1 year in nuclear power plant, and 0.5 year on-site experience

Preferred:
Post Graduate I master degree in Engineering
Eligible of Professional FP Engineer
6 years in nuclear power plant including 2 years in Fire Protection experience
