Job Description

Lead and monitor all new and existing Company security policies and procedures for compliance to FANR-REGs and the appropriate Company Management System. Serves as the primary focal point for alignment of all Security policies and procedures with internal and external stakeholders. Serve as the primary owner of all required policies and procedure reviews. 

Activity: Policies and Procedures 
Responsibility: 
• Lead and ensure any documentation of policy and procedures are aligned and consistent throughout all Company functions. 
• Establish and maintain communication channels regarding impacts of policies and procedures with Security Management and Compliance team members, Security functional groups and the Company /External stakeholders 
• Seek to collaborate with other departments across the organization to identify opportunities for improvement regarding policy and procedure content, documentation, and reference resources. 
• Responsible for all activities related to creating and implementing improvements to documentation, format layout, usability, on line reference information and training material. 
• Research and respond to questions regarding policies and procedures from all members of the team, and other functional organizations. 
• Serve as a subject matter expert for policies and procedures that pertain to Security organization. 
• Lead standard stakeholder and governance forums; gather feedback, research and provide follow-up. Maintain charter and operating standards. 
• Creates metrics and clear goals to understand benefit, risk, etc. 
• Participate in all meetings to discuss and / or propose changes to Policies and Procedures. 
• Conduct examination activities for new or updated policies and procedures with FEL’s, Managers, and Directors. 
• Assist with process documentation and testing to ensure compliance with corporate, industry, and legal requirements. 
• Ensure that Security training materials are updated as policies and procedures are updated. 
• Work with Nuclear Performance Improvement team and FEL’s to gather feedback and recommendations based upon insights and analytics.

Responsibility: 
• Promote and support a culture of compliance, risk avoidance/mitigation and corporate accountability throughout the organization 
• Work with auditors and technical subject matter experts to satisfy internal and external audit requirements and compliance 
• Identify and implement opportunities for efficiencies to improve governance/audit controls within Company to achieve program requirement goals. 
• Analyze existing controls, procedures, policies to determine which are obsolete or out-of- date. 
• Serve as a subject matter expert for governance and compliance frameworks and regulations within Company 
• Conduct compliance inspections within all areas of the security organization. 
Activity: Procedure development and Document control 
Responsibility: 
• Department procedure leads .Author procedures changes and coordinate change management plans. 
• Department records custodian, responsible for filling and records retention. 
Activity: Human performance and department performance indicators
