Description

Develops new and innovative insights/viewpoints into given situations according to work requirements, encourage to adopt new ideas and innovative work practices, use of modest technology & technical know how, while simultaneously discouraging the staff to shun the old, ageing, obsolete & conventional work processes & systems delivery practices; set-forth the innovative ideas, feasibility plans, details, designs and implementation process for latest available technologies, programs, processes and working methods.

Job Details

1.     Create new approaches, processes, method and tactics; while adopting the latest available technologies & tools, in order to optimize the work productivity, enabling to deliver maximum efficiency, while making typical job tasking more interesting & appealing.

2.    Help redesigning the existing old, ageing& obsolete processes and key system delivery options that need to be updated.

3.    Visit reputed organization involved in parallel energy/utility sectors of electricity & water distribution, to observe & ensure that the company work processes & product deliveries are at par with international best practices observing organizations.

4.     Identify location/functions/practices/processes across the company business that could be made more efficient or could add greater values. Assess where the changes are required in the work processes, procedures and product deliveries. Involve the persons dispensing different tasks, to give new ideas on what to be changed & how to be changed.

5.     Analyze problematic & grey areas in the system & work processes; and assess how can they be resolved or done indifferent ways, to move towards achieving more efficiency and effectiveness. Form the teams of coworkers from different disciplines and workgroup to meet, discuss the issues & difficulty levels; and share & agree with them on the solution of identified problems. Discuss with staff about opportunities and suggestions for the improvements that are essentially required within different work groups functioning.

6.    Take action & mobilize concern staff, to build support for promising solutions, and for the adaptation of new technologies, processes and product deliveries.

7.    Talk/discuss with staff about their education, interests and skills that go beyond ‘heir stated job functions; and provide them opportunities of creativeness skill beyond their present job roles.

8.    Take action to build the support for promising solution and/or technologies which are not immediately required but could be required in future time to come.

 

Minimum Requirements

1.    Bachelor‘s Degree in Engineering/System Management or relevant discipline.

2.    12 years extensive experience in Regulatory issues within the Utilities Sector.

3.    Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communications skills.

4.    Excellent knowledge of English is essential and Knowledge of Arabic is preferred.

5.    PC literate.
