Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced legal professional to join our client and provide legal support on matters related to information technology and software. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of UAE and Indian law, with a focus on information technology and software. They will be responsible for drafting and reviewing contracts, advising on regulatory compliance, and managing legal risks associated with information technology and software projects.

Job Details

Responsibilities
• Advise on legal and regulatory matters related to AI/ML development and deployment.
• Provide guidance on data privacy and security compliance (e.g., GDPR, UAE Data Protection Law).
• Advise on intellectual property protection for software, algorithms, and AI/ML models.
• Draft and review software licenses, development agreements, and data processing agreements.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on emerging technologies and relevant legislation.
• Stay abreast of legal and regulatory developments in the AI/ML space.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, product, business development) to ensure legal and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• [Number] years of experience in legal practice with a focus on technology law (preferred).
• Strong understanding of data privacy laws, intellectual property law, and contract law.
• Experience with AI/ML technologies and their legal implications (preferred).
• Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working in-house at a technology company.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations in the UAE and other key jurisdictions.
• Experience with international data transfers and cross-border legal issues.
