Job Description

Responsible for the development, coordination, delivery and the evaluation of bespoke security training courses and the production of security education materials across Company. The Security Instructor is also responsible for coordinating with the Security Department to establish, maintain, and improve the level of Company’s staff security awareness as well as make a positive contribution to the embodiment of an effective culture of security across the organization. 

Activity: Primary Tasks 
Responsibility: 
• Develop, deliver and continually review Company security training. 
• Develop and maintain training materials to meet security training program needs. 
• Participate in the development/revision and delivery of the security training programs, as appropriate. 
• Develop and maintain the training matrices for personnel assigned to the Company security department and other individuals requiring security-related training. 
• Develop and maintain the security training program records and databases, which is to be shared with Company HR. 
• Participate in training to attain and maintain proficiency in the development/revision and delivery of the security training Programs, as appropriate. 
Activity: Risk Management and Compliance Responsibilities 
Responsibility: 
• Provide input into the requirements for security education for all Company personnel. 
• Support the Security Managers within the department as directed by the Security Training Manager. 
• Contribute to the development of UAE National employees in a manner which supports the objectives of the corporation and its Emiratization strategy. 
• Contribute to knowledge dissemination/sharing in a way that assists with building internal capabilities of UAE Nationals where applicable and maximize their effective performance. 
Activity: Security Training 
Responsibility: 
• Develop and maintain the security training program database. 
• Provide input on required training facilities, equipment, materials and qualifications to ensure effective training program implementation. 
• Provide oversight and feedback of training delivered by Instructors and Subject Matter Expert instructors to ensure training is administered and meets procedural requirements and improves performance. 
Activity: Security Drills and Exercises. 
Responsibility: 
• Support training-related activities associated with the planning, coordination, conduct, and evaluation of security drills and exercises. 
Activity: Planning, Monitoring, and Reporting. 
Responsibility: 
• Enter training-related findings and opportunities for improvement into a formal corrective action program, and track those items to completion.

Skills

Technical Competency 
• Good IT skills with a working knowledge of the range of MS Office packages and knowledge of electronic security systems. 
• Knowledge of Training Equipment’s, Systems and Applications Microsoft Office. 
• Understanding of multimedia programs, tools, and eLearning courseware. 
• Excellent English skills 
• Proficient in the terms and concepts associated with Nuclear Plant.
