To ensure all regulatory requirements for Equipment performance, Testing and Maintenance of the Physical Protection System (PPS) are met. 

Activity: Physical Security System Maintenance 
Responsibility: 
• Ensure that the Company civil nuclear power plants have an integrated Physical Security program that meets or exceeds FANR and IAEA requirements and supports efficient plant operation; 
• Assist the Head to serve as the technical Liaison with FANR & CICPA staff in the functional areas of Site physical security Maintenance; 
• Implement the Site Physical Security Maintenance; plans, instructions and directives. 
• Ensure the Sustainability of all Security Equipment by doing Testing, calibration and preventive maintenance; Oversee Site Safety & Security Interface programs; 
• Monitor Physical Security System Maintenance on a day-to-day basis and perform periodic assessments to identify areas for improvement 
• Coordinate with system Operation team, users and security authority to ensure trouble free Security system. 
• Develop reports to support on-going compliance efforts. Develop metrics of security related issues, problems, and corrections associated to physical security perimeters. Investigate system and compliance issues. Develop options and recommendations to resolve/correct failures. 
• Work with the Security management team, the position also contributes to the development and implementation of organizational strategies, processes, procedures, methodology, and lessons learned 

Activity: Nuclear Security Program Development 
Responsibility: 
• Assist in the establish of Site Equipment Performance, Testing and Maintenance; & Safety & Security Interface Programs 
• Assist with data gathering to support Maintenance Contract Planning and Fiscal Budget Planning 
• Improve the maintenance systems, processes and policies in support of organizations mission -- specifically, support better management reporting, information flow and management, business process and organizational planning. 
• Continual Improvement Program Contribution - Contribute to a continual improvement program to constantly make changes to support processes in order to improve delivery and simplify service related processes. 
• Provide inputs into the long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence, risk management and business continuity.
