We are recruiting on behalf of a leading International company who are putting a team together at FEED Stage for a major upstream Oil & Gas Development in UAE
Starting Date: Immediate
Project Description: Urgently Hiring experienced Personnel's to join the Engineering team in Dubai , EPC FEED projects in Oil&Gas
Location: Middle East
Country: United Arab Emirates
Duration of the Contract: Minimum 1 year (Extendable) 
Benefits/ Contract Terms: Employment contract in Dubai. A monthly allowance of 8.5% , payable each 3 months , is given if you don’t use your leaves.
Flight tickets are covered for a total amount of 500$ both ways.
Work permit and medical insurance provided.
Jobs Responsibilities
Reports To The Senior Administrator - SP3D reports
Undertake the duties related to the systems for the Discipline Lead Engineers and assigned Project Manager.
 
The Administrator SP3D is responsible for handling set up and administration task related to assigned major project or several smaller or less complex projects. These projects by nature of their complexity and difficulty require the fully competent application of conventional knowledge in oil & gas.
In your role you will execute Smart Plant 3D set-up & Configuration, user trainings & deliverables in projects in safe manner, budget, schedule and quality.
Also Lead the supervisory task for the Sub-Contractor work in their work locations globally.
You should have a desire to work on multi discipline local as well overseas projects and be able to drive discipline goals by working together with assigned discipline designers and engineers.
Responsibilities and Duties
  • Supervise the Sub-Contractor work related to projects.
  • Guide the Sub-Contractor team on the any project specific issues.
  • Get work done from Sub-Contractor on time to meet project deadlines.
  • Set up and maintain projects environment in SP3D.
  • Set-up and maintain reference database for SP3D by Smart plant Reference Data.
  • Prepare Piping ISO and GA Drawing Templates for all disciplines.
  • Prepare MTO interface file for Smart Plant Materials as product.
  • Prepared clash check and various kinds of report and model review file for checking quality of 3D Modes.
  • Set up Global workshare for MSSQL and Oracle for Smart plant 3D.
  • Follow department and client drafting methods and standards.
  • Create auditing requirements and checking for quality assurance of the design efforts.
  • Co-ordinate and /or negotiate with clients, vendors and other discipline engineers for SP3D related problems.
  • Maintain and verify daily backup routines.
  • Help develop automation enhancements.
  • Create reports as per project requirement.
  • Training to designers in all Discipline modules in SP3D.
  • Instruct and co-ordinate piping designer and SP3D operator.
  • Design accurate system designs, in a given time period, adjusting to project requirement.
Qualifications
  • Engineering Graduate (BEng, BSc. or MSc.) in Mechanical or Technical related degree.
  • Working Experience with Oil and Gas Companies is added advantage.
  • Intergraph certified Smart plant 3D Designer/System administrator is preferred.
  • Relevant engineering experience in providing engineering design application support in the oil and Gas/Petrochemical Industry.
  • Experience administration and support of SP3D.
  • Good verbal as well written communication skills, leadership and coordination, analytic and pro-active approach competence in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and Chemical Industries.
  • Integration & correlation with SPP&ID experience with SPF will be added advantage.
  • Smart 3D upgrade experience is mandatory.
  • Strong aptitude for project planning and implementing of new design software.
  • Knowledge of VB (.NET) programming and MSSQL/ORACLE queries will be considered as an asset but not required.
  • Has ability to effectively conduct training sessions to new users.
  • Willingness to overcome challenges and pressure during peak of project.
  • Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team including process, mechanical, civil-structural, electrical, instrumentation and CAD support.
  • UAE projects experience is added value.
