PROJECT CONSTRUCTION ENGINEER

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Construction Engineer
to lead and oversee the successful execution of large-scale construction
projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in project
management, construction execution, planning, budgeting, scheduling, quality
control, and stakeholder coordination.
The role requires a proactive professional capable of
ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in
accordance with project specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Execution
- Manage
and supervise all construction activities throughout the project
lifecycle.
- Ensure
project delivery aligns with approved schedules, budgets, quality
standards, and contractual requirements.
- Develop
and implement effective construction execution plans and methodologies.
- Monitor
project progress and initiate corrective actions where necessary.
- Ensure
projects are completed on time and within budget.
Planning & Coordination
- Coordinate
with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Lead
site meetings and project coordination meetings.
- Monitor
project schedules and milestones using Primavera P6 or equivalent planning
software.
- Review
and evaluate construction methodologies and work sequences.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Ensure
compliance with project specifications, applicable regulations, industry
standards, and quality requirements.
- Monitor
implementation of QA/QC procedures across all project activities.
- Review
technical drawings, construction documents, and project deliverables.
- Conduct
regular site inspections and quality assessments.
Health, Safety & Environment
- Ensure
adherence to all HSE policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Promote
a strong safety culture across project teams and subcontractors.
- Monitor
site safety performance and implement corrective measures when required.
Reporting & Stakeholder Management
- Prepare
and submit project progress reports to management.
- Identify
project risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Provide
technical guidance and support to project teams.
- Maintain
effective communication with all project stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
- Master's
Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum
10 years of experience in the Construction and Engineering industry within
the UAE or GCC.
- Proven
experience delivering residential, hospitality, or large-scale building
projects.
- Demonstrated
involvement in projects valued at AED 50 million or above.
- Strong
knowledge of construction management, project execution, budgeting, and
scheduling.
- Experience
managing subcontractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary project teams.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency
in Primavera P6 or equivalent project planning software.
- Working
knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and other construction/design review
software.
- Strong
understanding of construction methodologies, contracts, specifications,
and project controls.
- Knowledge
of QA/QC standards and HSE requirements.
- Excellent
reporting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
